Langford Hotel opens in historical Miami building

The 126-room Langford Hotel opened in downtown Miami on March 21.
Located in a newly restored, 1920s-era bank building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel expects to cater prominently to business travelers who have meetings in Miami’s urban core, including at the nearby courthouses.
Among the Langford’s lodgings is a two-level penthouse apartment, which can be rented with between one and four bedrooms. In building the hotel, developer Stambul USA aspired to preserve the old City National Bank’s historical feel while adding hip amenities. Rooms have furnishings that evoke various decades of the building’s life, including 1920s-style sinks, 1940s-era valet stands and headboards in 1950s style.
The Langford’s American eatery, called PB Station, is the fifth in Miami for the Pubbelly Restaurant Group. The rooftop bar, called Pawn Broker, offers a 360-degree view of downtown.
