Miami’s 13 Most Anticipated Restaurants for Spring

The bad news: the cool less-humid months are almost over. The good news: spring will bring some pretty great new restaurant openings around Miami. Among the many things to look forward to: pop-ups finally getting brick-and-mortar locations, one of Brooklyn’s most famous pizzerias setting up shop on Biscayne and healthy options that promise to be delicious too. Below, the 13 most anticipated newcomers to check out this season.

 

Local Stars Look to Expand their Reach

 

Now that nightlife impresario Jason Odio and chef Michael Beltran (pictured) have mastered New American fare at Ariete, they’re turning their attention to craft cocktails and late-night snacks with Baby Jane, their forthcoming restaurant and bar in Brickell. Set to open this spring, Baby Jane, meant to feel like a bungalow, will feature a laid-back vibe, housemade bites (think duck and foie gras croquettes and grilled wings), plus local beers and inventive cocktails. 500 Brickell Ave.

 

The first Miami location of the growing Florida chain Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market is expected to open in April, bringing an omakase menu, robata fare, a noodle bar and a boutique fish market to Downtown Doral. 5241 NW 87th Ave.

 

The Pubbelly boys are at it again, this time with PB Station, a seafood-and-steak joint set to open this month within the Langford Hotel. The restaurant will offer shareable dishes with U.S. and Latin influences. 121 SE First St.
